Everyone
Get On Board!
COME
HOME TO GRANVILLE SUNDAY, AUGUST 5, 2007
This
year’s Roberts Reunion again returns us to Granville, Massachusetts
where Nancy Hoyt (Bean) Roberts lived and where many of her
descendents still live. Granville,
located in south western Massachusetts, is 18 miles west of
Springfield and 107 miles southwest of Boston. The
town is “renown” for Granville cheese and its clear mountain streams
surrounded by wild blueberries and crisp Macintosh apples. Granville
is a community of approximately 1,500 people, and many of those
families are either descendents of Nancy and William Roberts or are
friends and neighbors. SO,
DESCENDENTS, COME ON HOME TO GRANVILLE.
The
Federated Church, on Route 189 will be the central location for our
activities. The church is accessible with convenient parking and
restrooms. The
church welcomes Roberts family members to its regular church service
(10:00) and fellowship hour (11:00). Otherwise,
plan to join us for registration and displays in the lower hall
beginning at 12:30, with lunch following the traditional singing of
the doxology at 1:00 p.m. After
lunch, we’ll have our annual business meeting and some special
activities, with games for children on the Granville Green. While
no formal tour is planned, copies of the 2006 Heritage Tour booklet
will be available should you wish to take your own self-guided tour.
Please print the following word documents to send back
for the reunion.
